If
the installation process fails when it tries
to uninstall AVG6, cancel installation process
and uninstall AVG6 manually: go to the Start
menu -> Programs -> AVG6 Antivirus
System -> Uninstall AVG item, and then
run AVG7 installation again.

e-mail address:
- the exact error message shown when you
open a Details screen (Details button on
the Installation failed screen)
- the AVG7INST.LOG file, which should be
located in %TEMP% directory for Windows,
usually C:\Documents And Settings\\Local
Settings\Temp\ for Win2000\XP or C:\Windows\Temp\
for W95/98/ME/NT |
